Temlo is a social content, publishing and engagement automation platform designed to help businesses, creators and other authorised users manage their social-media presence.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Temlo website attemlo.ai, the Temlo application atapp.temlo.ai, and Temlo services and integrations that link to this policy.
2. Information we collect
The information Temlo processes depends on how you use the service and which features or integrations you choose to enable.
Account and contact information
When you create or use a Temlo account, contact us or communicate with us, we may receive information such as your name, email address, business or brand information, social-media handles, messages and other information you choose to provide.
Where authentication is provided through a third-party identity provider, we may receive the basic account information required to identify and authenticate your Temlo account.
Meta and Instagram account information
When you choose to connect an Instagram or other Meta account to Temlo, Meta may provide information authorised by you and permitted by the permissions granted to the Temlo Meta application.
This may include:
- Instagram professional account identifiers, usernames and associated account information;
- Meta or Instagram account identifiers required to establish and maintain the connection;
- access tokens and authorisation information required for Temlo to access Meta APIs on your behalf;
- permissions you have granted to Temlo;
- media, captions and related information you ask Temlo to publish;
- identifiers and status information returned by Meta after content is published;
- comments, engagement information or related social interactions when you enable Temlo features that require this information; and
- technical information returned by Meta that is necessary to operate, troubleshoot or secure the integration.
Temlo only intends to request and process Meta Platform Data that is needed for features offered to you and authorised by you.
Content you provide
Temlo may process images, videos, captions, text, scheduling information and other content that you upload, create or provide for publishing or other features you choose to use.
Website and service usage information
We may collect technical information such as pages visited, feature interactions, browser or device information, diagnostic information and general usage activity.
On temlo.ai, optional website analytics are loaded only after you accept analytics through our cookie preferences.
3. How we use information
We use information only for legitimate Temlo purposes, including:
- creating, authenticating and maintaining Temlo accounts;
- connecting social-media accounts that you explicitly authorise;
- displaying your connected accounts within the Temlo application;
- creating, scheduling and publishing content at your request;
- communicating with Meta APIs to perform actions that you initiate or configure;
- providing engagement or automation features that you choose to enable;
- recording publishing status and helping you understand whether a requested operation succeeded or failed;
- providing customer support and responding to enquiries;
- maintaining the security and reliability of Temlo and preventing misuse;
- understanding and improving our website, product and user experience; and
- complying with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use Meta Platform Data for purposes unrelated to the Temlo functionality for which the data was obtained.
4. Meta and Instagram integration
Temlo integrates with services provided by Meta Platforms, including Instagram. When you connect a supported account, you authorise Temlo to access only the permissions presented to you through Meta's authorisation process.
Temlo uses that access to provide features you request, such as identifying connected Instagram accounts and publishing or scheduling social content.
Additional Temlo functionality may use other Meta permissions only when that functionality is made available to you and you have granted the necessary access.
Your use of Instagram, Facebook and other Meta services remains subject to Meta's own terms, policies and privacy practices.
5. Access tokens and connected accounts
Temlo may store access tokens or equivalent authorisation credentials provided through Meta's authentication and authorisation process.
These credentials are used to make authorised requests to Meta APIs on your behalf and are not intended to be used for any unrelated purpose.
You can revoke Temlo's Meta access through the account and app settings made available by Meta. After access is revoked, Temlo will no longer be able to perform new Meta API actions that require that authorisation.
6. Cookies and website analytics
Temlo uses essential browser storage on temlo.ai to remember your privacy preference.
We also use optional analytics technologies to understand website usage and improve the Temlo experience. These technologies are loaded only after you accept analytics.
Our current website analytics providers include:
- Google Analytics 4 — helps us understand website traffic and usage;
- Microsoft Clarity — helps us understand how visitors interact with website pages; and
- PostHog — helps us understand website and product interactions.
These providers may process certain technical and usage information according to their own privacy policies and data-processing practices.
7. Your cookie choices
When you first visit temlo.ai, you can accept analytics or reject non-essential analytics technologies.

8. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information or Meta Platform Data.
Information may be shared with service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate, host, secure, maintain or support Temlo.
When you request an action involving Instagram or another Meta service, necessary information is transmitted to Meta through its APIs so that the requested action can be performed.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process or a valid request from an appropriate authority.
9. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Temlo, maintain security, resolve problems, meet legitimate operational requirements and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Different types of information may have different retention periods. For example, connection information may be retained while an account remains connected, while certain operational or security records may need to be retained for a limited period after an activity occurs.
Information that is no longer required will be deleted or anonymised where reasonably practicable, subject to applicable legal or legitimate retention requirements.
10. Data deletion
You may request deletion of personal information associated with your Temlo account, including information received through Meta or Instagram integrations.

After verifying a valid request, we will delete or anonymise applicable information from Temlo systems except where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution or other legitimate obligations.
Revoking Temlo's access through Meta prevents future authorised access but may not by itself delete information previously stored by Temlo. Use our Data Deletion Instructions if you also want Temlo-held information deleted.
11. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse, alteration or disclosure.
However, no internet transmission, software platform or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
12. Third-party services
Temlo relies on third-party services and platforms to provide certain functionality. These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
In particular, use of Meta services, including Facebook and Instagram, is governed by Meta's applicable terms and privacy policies.
13. International processing
Temlo and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
