1. Request deletion from Temlo
To request deletion of information associated with your Temlo account, email:
Use the subject:Temlo Data Deletion Request.
Please send the request from the email address associated with your Temlo account wherever possible.
2. Information to include
To help us identify the correct account and avoid deleting another person's information, include:
- the email address associated with your Temlo account;
- the Instagram username or usernames connected to Temlo, if applicable; and
- a clear statement that you want your Temlo data deleted.
We may request reasonable additional information when necessary to verify that the request relates to you or an account you are authorised to manage.
3. Meta and Instagram data
If you connected an Instagram or other Meta account to Temlo, your deletion request may include applicable information that Temlo received from Meta or created while providing the integration.
This may include, where applicable:
- connected Meta or Instagram account identifiers;
- Instagram usernames and associated account information;
- stored Meta authorisation or access-token information;
- permissions associated with the connection;
- media, captions and scheduling information stored within Temlo;
- Meta publishing identifiers and publishing-status information;
- engagement information processed by Temlo features you enabled; and
- other Meta Platform Data associated with your Temlo account that Temlo is not required to retain.
4. Revoke Temlo's Meta access
You may separately revoke Temlo's access from the app, business integration or connected-account settings provided by Meta.
Revoking access prevents Temlo from making future API requests that require that authorisation.
Removing Temlo from Meta does not necessarily delete information that was previously stored within Temlo. If you also want that information deleted, submit a deletion request to us using the instructions above.
5. What happens after a request
After we receive and verify a valid deletion request, we will identify information associated with the request and delete or anonymise applicable information from Temlo systems.
Some limited information may be retained where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, maintain security or establish or defend legal rights.
Information retained for one of these purposes will not be used for unrelated product or marketing purposes.
6. Deleting content from Meta itself
A Temlo deletion request removes applicable information held by Temlo. It does not automatically delete content that has already been published to Instagram, Facebook or another Meta service.
Content already published to a Meta service must be managed through the controls provided by that service.
